Getting Started: Motivation and Goals

Starting a fitness journey can be as scary as a Horror movie, but don’t let that fear hold you back! I’m going to arm your utility belt with some tips that will help you get started.

If you feel like you’re ready to embark on your own fitness journey, then you’ve already made the first step. If it’s on your mind, then the next step is putting things in motion. Be honest with yourself and set some clear goals. Find what drives you.

Say you want to feel more confident, have your clothes fit better or simply improve your overall health, understanding your motivations will help you stay committed and gain the results you desire. Think about if you want to make strength or muscle gains. Consider if you want to lose fat and be leaner. Know that these goals will take different paths to achieve. There’s nothing stopping you from changing these paths along the way, but it’s important to move towards your goals.

Don’t wait for the right time! You don’t have to wait for the full moon to become a beast in the gym. Start now and don’t chase perfection. Staying consistent is the Skeleton key that will unlock great possibilities in the haunted house of fitness.

So, let’s get started, stay motivated, and pursue your goals towards a healthier and happier you!
