  • Benicio Monserrate Rafael del Toro Sánchez was born in Puerto Rico.

  • His first note able film role was in Big Top Pee Wee as Duke, the Dog-Faced Boy.

  • He worked with Robert Rodriguez on Frank Miller’s Sin City, where he portrayed Detective Jack “Jackie Boy” Rafferty.
  • Produced and starred in The Wolfman for Universal Pictures in 2010.

  • Played Taneleer Tivan aka The Collector in Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy. He reprised the role for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout attraction and also Avengers: Infinity War.

  • Portrayed the mysterious DJ in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
